Shuaiba Paper Products Company (SPPC), the leading manufacturer of paper bags for industrial and consumer packaging has selected a Sage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to streamline its operations and support its growth plans. The system will be implemented by Al Mulla Infotech Solutions, part of Bader Al Mulla & Bros. Co. W.L.L., a Sage Enterprise Partner.
Sage ERP modules that Shuaiba Paper Company will use are: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Sales Order Processing, Sales Invoicing, Purchase Order Processing, Inventory Control, Bill of Material, Material Resource planning and Works Order Processing.
Mr. Waleed Al Ghunaiman, Executive Vice President, Shuaiba Paper Co. said, “Prior to selecting Sage ERP, we were using a locally developed solution. We were forced to look for a change because the system did not have manufacturing functionality, the inventory and financial numbers never tallied and support was extremely poor. These rolls differ from each other in thickness, length, width, country of origin etc. It is important for each production order, that paper rolls are selected so as to reduce wastage. We also have a huge warehouse and the ability to quickly locate rolls picked for an order, is important. Sage ERP is ideally suited to help us quickly locate raw material, track its consumption and reduce wastage.”
