Mubarrad Transport Co, one of the largest land transport companies in the region owned in majority by A’ayan Leasing and Investment Company, has chosen Sage HRMS and Sage ERP software solutions to streamline its rapidly growing business. With its recent fleet expansion and plans to double its employees, Mubarrad has selected Sage to help it increase efficiency and give it a competitive advantage. The solution being implemented by Bader Al Mulla & Bros. Co. W.L.L, a Sage Enterprise Partner and leading integrator in Kuwait will take Mubarrad from a completely manual process to full automation.
“We have recently gone through a huge expansion throughout our company. In order to meet growing market demands, we have increased our fleet to 1200 trucks, from 800 just last September, taking our total asset worth to over KD20 million. Also, currently, we have over 700 employees. However, we were still running our operations using a simple system and were finding that our entire business system, from finance to inventory, simply could not keep up with the rapid growth of the company. So we needed to take immediate action to improve three critical things – integration, communication and efficiency. Mubarrad is currently in the process of implementing Sage HRMS & ERP solutions. The Sage system will run on a central server at the head office and users from other locations will access the system via the web. Implementation commenced in April 2006, and when completed, will help Mubarrad manage complex vehicle leases that could range from a few months to multiple years. The system will also give Mubarrad accurate customer and vehicle profitability, help it streamline invoicing and improve payment collection.
