Sage Software Named Market Share Leader for Small Business CRM Solutions

Sage Software, makers of leading small and mid-market customer relationship management (CRM) software solutions ACT!® and SalesLogix®, today announced its market share leadership for worldwide small business CRM applications, owning a 25% share as recognized by Gartner, Inc. Sage Software outpaces Siebel, FrontRange and Salesforce.com in this category of Gartner’s most recent small and mid-size business (SMB) CRM research.

Sage Software has captured the leading worldwide small business CRM market share as a result of its tailored market solutions and understanding that one size does not fit all. As a result, Sage Software offers a portfolio of CRM solutions to address the specific management needs of small to medium-sized businesses.

According to Gartner, the CRM software market will grow faster in the small business space than in large business segments. The industry forecasts are positive for the small business CRM market space, with an annual growth rate increase of 5.5%.

Large enterprise players such as Microsoft, SAP and Siebel have more recently entered the SMB CRM market but trail Sage Software in the small business segment, which has offered business management products and services to small and medium-sized businesses for over 25 years.

In addition to Gartner’s recent assessment of the small business CRM market, other indicators point to Sage Software as the top SMB CRM provider. SalesLogix received the highest customer satisfaction ranking for the second year in a row, outscoring Microsoft and Salesforce.com, in a recent study by HYM press and CRMGuru. SalesLogix experienced the most significant growth in customer satisfaction with over 7% increase, more than all of the vendors in the study. The research found that SalesLogix customers prefer the solution to the competition because it is easy to install, affordable, adaptable to their individual functional requirements and well supported.
