Sage Software Middle East today announced a series of regional events for companies who are beginning to feel the heat from competition and increasingly demanding customers, in a bid to help them develop the right strategy to build superior automation into their business operations. The Sage Solution Days aim to present a simplified proposition for organisations that need to adopt technologies such as CRM, ERP, and HR management software in the face of a fast-changing business landscape.
Marc Van der Ven, Managing Director, Sage Software Middle East, said: “Businesses today have an imperative to transform themselves and improve performance. There is a great deal of solutions available in the market, which makes it increasingly difficult for decision makers to make the best choice for their company. There is a move towards adopting a sophisticated IT infrastructure, but this is being slightly impeded by confused messages from vendors and solution providers, and the pressure to make a quick decision. Sage has the knowledge, experience and portfolio of products that makes it the sole provider focused 100% on CRM, ERP and HR management systems. This is a huge benefit to our customers and partners in the region.”
In the 2005 Sage YouGov ERP Survey, 51% of ERP users said they would improve communication of project goals and progress within the company when implementing a solution, 49% said they would involve the best people in the organisation. Remarkably, none of the respondents said they didn’t know what changes they would make.
“This is an indication that GCC organisations have matured and understand what it takes for an ERP project to succeed. Business Managers in the region know that software solutions change the way businesses function. They know it touches most people in an organisation and that is an extremely effective way to communicate to all staff what the company is trying to do,” said Van der Ven.
The Sage Solution Day road show kicks off in Riyadh on December 10th, moves on to Bahrain on December 12th and then to Kuwait on December 19th. The one-day agenda will focus on the best practice implementations of HR management solutions, the use of ERP to cut costs and improve efficiency and how to increase sales and boost customer service through a good CRM solution. This is the first Sage GCC road show following the completion of the company’s acquisition of and merger with Accpac in February 2006. Sage today has over 45 skilled partners, 1,500 customers and 10,000 users in the Middle East region.
