Ebrahim Almana & Bros chooses Sage ERP

Ebrahim Almana & Bros. Co., one of the largest healthcare organizations in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia has implemented Sage Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to manage its hospital supplies and medical equipment division. The new software has streamlined its operations and improved customer satisfaction.

Najeeb Almana, Managing Director Ebrahim Almana & Bros. Co., said, “We chose Sage ERP ahead of Oracle and Great Plains because of three reasons. Firstly it best suited our functional requirements. Second, Sage is the preferred vendor of 3M, our major principal for hospital and medical supplies & equipment. Thirdly, we wanted a solution that offered a low cost of ownership and could be implemented quickly. Sage was best positioned to meet all these criteria”.

Najeeb Almana continued, “The hospital supplies and medical equipment division of Ebrahim Almana & Bros has four warehouses and offices in Saudi. Sage has helped integrate information business processes between these offices. The users also found Sage simple and easy to use allowing us to go live quickly”.

It was difficult to obtain timely information. Sage ERP software has helped improve visibility and information flow across the various offices. Sage has signed a number of deals recently in Saudi Arabia including Ebrahim Almana & Bros, Sigma Paints, Saudi Ericsson and others. The rate at which Saudi companies are embracing business automation software such as ERP has significantly increased over the last year. Sage sees this as an effort on the part of Saudi companies to improve efficiency and become more competitive.
